History of Thrive

Thrive Credit Union was founded in 1940 by the employees of Delco Battery. These employees joined together to establish a financial service dedicated to serving the hard-working, faithful employees of Delco Battery and their families.
Over the past 81 years, Thrive Credit Union has been a part of the Delaware County community and has evolved into a full-service, community credit union.

Joining the credit union is easy! Anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Delaware, Madison, or Henry County is eligible. You can open your account online or in person at one of our three branch locations.
At Thrive, you are not only a member, you are an owner of the credit union!

At Thrive Federal Credit Union, individual accounts are insured up to $500,000.00 through a combination of private insurance provided by Excess Share Insurance (ESI) and the federal government insurance provided by the
National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
